1、veneer curling:
This situation is generally mainly due to the knife gap is too narrow or the knife height is too high. The solution is very simple, to loosen the sliding pillow screw and adjusting screw at both sides, loosen the knife gap, and then reduce the knife height, and then tighten the screw, so as to solve the problem of veneer curling.
2、the thickness of the veneer is uneven:
Mainly due to the ranging or speed measuring encoder or electronic ruler are damaged. Solution: the fast forward frequency is adjusted to 2Hz, observe the log diameter change is not continuous, if there is a pause phenomenon indicates that the ranging coder is broken, need to be replaced. If the rotational speed of the roll is inconsistent with the actual rotational speed, the speed measuring encoder needs to be replaced.
3、the veneer is wavy shape:
This situation is generally due to the feed resistance is too large. Solution: Check whether the output current of the frequency converter is greater than 5 A during idling. If it exceeds the required adjustment, check whether the resistance caused by poor lubrication is too large.
